For us, Texas is not just where we practice. It is home. We both grew up in McAllen, on the border in the Rio Grande Valley, in families that taught us to work hard, honor family, and always give back. Josh first arrived in Austin 22 years ago to study at St. Edward’s University and then earned his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law. Larissa went to Columbia University, then came home to Texas to build her career and attend UT Law herself. We are both licensed by the State Bar of Texas, we stay active in civic, legal, and business communities across the state, and we both spent years working in the Texas Capitol, serving various communities across Texas.

The law runs in our families. Josh followed his mother, who worked as a trial attorney and then as a State District Judge for 28 years. Larissa followed her father, a renowned and respected litigator with a successful litigation practice in South Texas. We learned early what it means to serve people and to treat clients like neighbors.

These days you will find us in Austin raising our son in the Crestview and Allandale area. We are proud parents doing our best to pass on the same values and resilience the Valley gave us, a life built around family, community, and showing up for the people who count on you. Our crew also includes our two dogs, Bear and Moose, and one very opinionated cat named Meow Meow.
